1. The General Directorate of Public Health and Social Care is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the operation of all the organic units that fall under it, ensuring their orderly operation and dealing with problems and cases of their competence, especially in the areas promoting and protecting the public health of the local population, combating poverty and exclusion, promoting social cohesion and defending vulnerable groups through an effective network of social care and solidarity services.
